    BORG wish to express that we find the nature of "Gender" as repugnant in the profile definitions. As Borg grow through assimilation, we wish to express our discontent with only two options on Gender, Male or Female. BORG requests that a third option, androgynous, be included. Hermaphrodite would be acceptable, but would not truly encompass the nature of our beings. We are cognizant of your quest for fairness and acceptance on these boards, and look forward to your acquiescence to our request.

  • Wow.. a Borg that doesn't know their own history. Borgs so have genders, male and female as those are the types that are assimilated. however This isn't the end of it. They can't make a borg that is androgynous. To raise "grow" another borg in the neonatal chambers the need a donor of both sides, which is returns creates one of either type.

    Why make it impossible to have gender and cause infertility when just having one or the other so they can continue growing replacement drones?

    Nanoprobes are microscopic machines that inhabit a Borg’s body, bloodstream, and many cybernetic implants. The probes perform the function of maintaining the Borg cybernetic systems, as well as repairing damage to the organic parts of a Borg. They generate new technology inside a Borg when needed as well as protecting them from many forms of disease and virus. Borg nanoprobes each about the size of a human red blood cell, travel through the victim’s bloodstream and latch on to individual cells.
    The nanoprobes rewrite the cellular DNA altering the victim’s biochemistry, and eventually form larger, more complicated structures and networks within the body such as electrical pathways, processing and data storage nodes, and ultimately prosthetic devices that spring forth from the skin.

    And that is why we demand the removal of all 'gender specific' recognition on Ikariam.
    It makes it easier to rewrite the DNA of those who are about to be assimilated - which is inevitable.
