It may look like I'm just sitting here doing nothing, but I'm really actively waiting for all my problems to go away.

So, I guess by now it's obvious that I didn't really develop a script to reply every 3 hours. (Although I think most of the design is documented.) Last night, I set an alarm for every 3 hours. Today, I wasn't able to make an entry every three hours exactly, since I was at work and had different priorities.

Setting an alarm for every three hours made for a somewhat restless night, and was not the wisest thing I've ever done.

But, it was still better than an experiment I designed for a statistics class. I was looking at the effects of temperature, humidity, and light on the germination rate of loblolly pine pollen, taking counts every two hours, I would place the agar plates under a microscope and hit a tallywhacker to accumulate the counts. It started off well, since there was little germination. By the time the first night arrived, the plates had more pollen germinated. Eventually, I'd finish the counts and it was almost time to start again! The experiment was set to run only two days, over a weekend. I slept in the lab, but in reality, I got very little sleep.

Hehe, Germans warning us not to become a tax haven, I wonder if they realise that we're not Greece so they can't tell us what to do.
