As leader of Zeta;s Raider's (1ZR) I hereby declare war on Art of War (AoW)

Reasons for war

1. It is one more conflict towards a world war in Zeta
2. AoW declared on our target RW knowing that we had already declared
3. 1ZR were getting itchy shooting fingers and made some early attacks on AoW
4. We can hear the moaning and whining from AoW across the halls of zetas diplomatic channels
4. We have ended diplomatic efforts to avoid this war


Ending Conditions: At least one of the following conditions to be met for early end to be validated.

1. AoW disbands
2. ZR get bored
3. 1ZR decides enough revenge has been delivered

The war will last indefinately from the date of this declaration or until 1ZR decides at least one of the above conditions is met. Bashing rule will be lifted in 24 hours time from publication.

The winner will be determined by total generals lost of all CRs above 1k damage; only combat CRs will count pillage will not be considered. All CRs showing total damage below 1k will be ignored and will not be eligible for inclusion in the total war statistics.

The reason we declared on RW in the first place was to prevent AoW from having to fight them. It seemed like Corsini's DoW on RW was the cheap shot and it made us look stupid. We have no quarrels with the majority of AoW but if they persist with their present rhetoric we shall have no choice but to fight... whilst the real cause sits in vmode!!

Diplomacy was being attempted but it seems to have hit a brick wall

We have actually declared against and are actively warring with three alliances - aow is just a side show - so we dont see how this is cowardice

Apologies to you seno I dealt directly with your stand in leader The Z in the absence of corsini - we spoke leader to leader and this is to what I refer

Now just to clear this up once and for all - The Z and myself discussed an awful lot the exerpts seen here represent less than 5% of the total conversation and indeed it was an attempt at diplomacy. Indeed what actually occurred my dear friend Corsie was that I invited The Z to join with us as he had already proven himself to be a decent player... and I also filled him in with the goings on that led to this declaration. Only at the very end did I suggest that he pull aow out of the war - I actually meant disband the alliance which is certainly a form of surrender and of course is one of the early ending conditions - but i dont think The Z realised I meant this. My precise words were : there is something you can do - think about it. Only later was the word surrender specifically used and by then it was clear that war could not be avoided and indeed I had already by that point ordered 1ZR to prepre for attacks on aow targets.

Shame that corsie is in vmode but im sure we shall still be nicely active and warring when he returns

I make no bones about it I have already stated that The Z was seen as a decent player and one that would have been invited to join us however he choose the way of the sword and so be it. Im not really interested in the to and fro of irrelevant gossip, my troops and ships will do my talking both now and on your return corsini. No matter what alliance you join you will always be our enemy and we shall act accordingly
