    Ikariam - Game Rules

    The following rules are valid for all worlds.

    Should you think you were punished unjustly according to one of the following rules please contact the game support at support.en.ikariam.gameforge.com/.

    Please note that due to data protection directives we can only discuss requests and complaints concerning a specific account with its owner after proper verification.

    1. Multi accounts
    It is possible to maintain several accounts on one and the same server. These have to be announced to us by using a game internal function. Direct interaction between these multi accounts is not allowed. Circumventing these rules via other players is not allowed.

    2. Account sharing
    It is not allowed to share your login data with other players.

    3. Pushing **
    It is not allowed to gain an advantage at the expense of weaker players. A player is considered weaker if his total highscore is lower than that of the accused.

    4. Bugusing
    Intentional use of a bug or intentionally not reporting a bug is not allowed.

    5. Scripting
    Usage of software or scripts in order to gain advantages at the expense of other players is not allowed. This includes bots, macros and other automatisms.

    6. Real Life threats
    It is not allowed to make real life threats towards other players.

    7. Content
    Insults and inappropriate behavior towards other players are not allowed.
    Also it is not allowed to publish pornographic, racist or extremist views and opinions of any kind.
    Advertisements, political or religious opinions are unwanted and should not be published.

    8. Language *
    The language of the game is the English language.

  • Clarification about IP sharing after 0.6.4 update

    Dear Players,
    as you noticed, update 0.6.4 introduced, for IP sharing declaration, a limit of 10 partners. In this way,nobody can have legally more than 11 accounts to manage. We would like to point out that any further undeclared account that will interact with one of declared accounts will be permabanned (for multiaccount), along with other declared involved account.

    * How to create an IP Sharing agreements with another account on the same server:

    1. Click on "Options" ingame, then choose "IP Sharing".


    2. Type in the player account name you wish to share IP with.


    3. PlayerX then MUST ACCEPT the IP sharing agreement for this process to complete.

    * If you have more than one account that share the same IP or not, then all accounts MUST be linked to each other. Similarly for family members or friends on same IP:

    For example, if there are 4 accounts that share IP:
    Account1 must be linked to Account2, 3 and 4
    Account2 must be linked to Account3 and 4
    Account3 must be linked to Account4.

    - even if they are temporary.

    - even if you decide to delete them later, or in the process of deletion, or in inactivity.

    - circumventing the multi rules is not allowed; be it pillaging, transferring pirate / capture points, sending, selling, or receiving resources.

  • Pushing Rule

    Dear players.

    By creating an account you agree to the Ikariam rules and the Terms and Conditions.

    Among the rules, you find the Pushing rule:

    It is not allowed to gain an advantage at the expense of weaker players. A player is considered weaker if his total highscore is lower than that of the accused.

    - This refers to transport or transfer of raw materials and other luxury resources from lower to higher score accounts, without any returns (if in trading, limit is 48 hours).
    - This will also refer to piracy where there is a gain of unfair advantage when piracy points are raided by higher score accounts, (as of piracy session 13th March 2017) in EN servers.
    - What is not allowed is the abuse of a higher score account benefiting from small accounts created for the sole purpose of being attacked, with or without the consent of the lower accounts, irrespective of whether an agreement has been made between two players.
    This also includes the pyramidal systems within an alliance or accounts, for example, collecting capture points from those smaller accounts (again created for the sole purpose of being attacked) for the sole benefit of a higher score account.

    In general, the attack of lower score accounts by higher score accounts is not prohibited.

    Most of you will think that they will now be reported by smaller players for getting raided. Be assured that each report, each case, will be investigated.
