  • Change Island view option 'Send out spy' if there are spies in the town.

    General Information:

    When you click on a city, one of the options is 'Send out Spy'. I'd like to change that to 'Send Spy an Assignment' and the icon when clicked go to the appropriate Hideout if there are already spies in the town.

    How will it change the interface/gameplay/battles/system?

    A very minor change to the icon text. Since the text appears to be part of the icon, a new icon would be needed. It should be no more than one line of code for the icon - something along the lines of

    IF HasSpies(Town) THEN SpyIconToDisplay:=SpyingMissionsIcon ELSE SpyIconToDisplay=SendSpyIcon ENDIF

    And if the icon is clicked, you jump to the same code for the Send Your Spy an Assignment icon.

    Suggestion Reason:

    Mainly convenience. It saves some clicks and some bandwidth and would feel more elegant. Currently to execute a spying mission from the island view, you have to double-click a city, then wait for the city to appear, then click the Send Your Spy an Assignment icon. Why not save a step?

  • Stop 2 steps to make 2 steps... Okay GameForge. How about you double click to automatically go to spy missions or just replace the missions where friends is. Then your suggestion doesn't bother negating your original reasons with. I hate sloppy useless code.

    So if you have no spies in that town (in Island View, ofc) if you click on that town, you'll see the normal icon of "send a spy"..


    But if you have spies in that town already, the original icon of "send out spy" would be there and ANOTHER icon that says "Give your spies an assignment" prompting to the 'hideout' building..


    If that's the case, it's a good call.
