Persian Empire (IRAN) vs LAW (LAW)

During the last few days, with no reason and no contact, there has been several attacks on our members by some members of LAW, including their general, home secretary, and diplomat as well. As the IRAN leader, I contacted their diplomat to ask about the reason behind these attacks and to achieve a diplomatic solution. Unfortunately, not only he/she did not do me the courtesy of replying (which surely shows his personal character), but also they had more attacks. Moreover, their diplomat is one the main contributors in these hostilities. As our last attempt to avoid a conflict, I contacted their leader and I have not received any reply yet, but more troops and fleets!

With the above description, I think it is clear although they are not gentle enough, they have provoked a conflict over us. Therefore, as the alliance which is under attack with no reason, we think we have to defend ourselves and to reply the attacks. Furthermore, we have the right to ask our union alliances to help us directly. According to the LAW much higher total score than us, we are proud of defending ourselves and we will employ our unions' favors.

This conflict will continue until we receive an official apology both in the game and in this thread from them.

We will provide related combat reports and news soon.
IRANians do not tolerate any hostilities and offensive action.

Actually us and our allies were getting attacked by 3 Iranian alliances so we fought back.We made peace with one,another expelled the problem person and they are now left alone.

Some of the circs I got were bad enough so we take it they did not want to chat.

So we fought. You forced us to open the cage and let the beast out.

I think no one can say my alliance has attacked theirs since merger. Moreover, I am sure no one can claim that he has contacted me and did not receive a reply.

There are two clear statements:
1. We have not attack any alliance, therefore if you want to fight back, you definitely must fight against other alliances!
2. You could choose an alliance with a higher score, not an alliance which has lower number of members as well as about 5 times lower score.

Your behavior is like as a kid who cannot defend himself against other kids, so hurt the flowers of their garden!
An interesting point is that you are attacking some members far apart our colony! A higher score alliance which seems much higher brave...
You can note that these days, only one member (note: ONE IRANian player) with a considerable lower score has withstood the attacks and I have seen some CRs such as the below one:

Anyways,you WERE attacking our friends at POFF,I have the cr's of me clearing their ports from your members.
I dont ambro a full attack town to a front for nothing. You guys said you were going to turn them into farms,I also have the lil smiley circs sent by you guys.

You bought huge armies and navy's of 150,000 and thought you were untouchable,when we took one guy down to 118,000 he bought more,feeding our gens appetite for kills.

Dear Chuck,

I talked a lot with you when you started this battles. I do not want to waste my time more, but as I mentioned in the game messages, you can contact the diplomat of POFF in this case! I am sure your mentioned CRs are related to these days, when you attacked us; so our members blocked the ports of POFF members on their islands to keep you away for their islands.

I think a player who has moved his town (with Ambrosia) to attack some players cannot say anything about defending! We have the right to buy troops and fleets and you can be sure we will not ask anyone before doing it! In addition, you can be sure we will use it against any alliance who want to attack us.

I want to stress again that there is no ongoing battle between us and POFF. So, you, the coward players who has attacked a much lower rank alliance far from their colonies to show their excellence, you can be sure we will defend ourselves and will ask other alliances to defend us as well and to keep an unreasonable alliance far away.

I let you smoke, it may help you think more. But consider, until we receive an official apology, there is no end for this conflict. We will stop increasing our scores to stop you play and it will be a long-term defense.

Maybe you should think about that next time you attack a fighting alliance bigger then you.

We settled our first 2 conflicts with pga and kings in 2 days. They have peace now.
I had fun last night in our 63 round battle,much respect for the fighters on both sides.
Thought you guys wanted some "fun" wars?
Not so fun now?

Remember,LAW is comprised of two alliances of survivors that have been playing since the game started,some of us have fought wars that lasted 2 years.

This is NOT our first rodeo. 8-)

I can only believe what is on going, that is you are attacking an alliance with much lower score; that is you are claiming our contribution in wars against POFF while they do not say so; that is attacking an individual player together with your friends; that is attacking an island far away from the alliance colonies. These are what I am seeing now.

Yes, we are looking for fun, but is it fun that some players with much lower score attack an individual player? I think your general has said to him that they will have a 1vs1 duel. I think it might be fun if both players agreed for that.

I do not need to remember anything, I am seeing what is truth my friend.

If some Iranian attacked the domestic players after merger, it does not say all the Iranians are looking for battles or are millitant. As any other server, some players are radical, they prefer war to enjoy the game, and the merger into a unfamiliar server (for them) has intensed it.
But, does it mean that all of the new comers are trouble maker? Of course not! The majority of Iranians prefer to have good relations with residents as we are peaceful people.

However, asking for peace does not mean there is any fear on our side! If some of the reports show higher damages for Iranians, it is obviousely due to the fact that more experienced players have prefered to avoid any war; they know its their servers currently, so they have to deal with entire residents who worth it. I am sure if some behaviors from a few of domestic alliances continue (such as attacking all the Iranian instead of a specific alliance which has attacked them or their unions), more experienced players will start to defend their freind. I am sure that wise players can understand that it will led into long-term world wars and no one likes that to happen.

I ask all of you for restraint; and I will ask my countrymens as well. As the leader of the MIS alliance, I left my alliance to find more domestic friends and to follow more friendships and extend it. I am now a member of a domestic alliance.

I can correct your sentence this like: These are our attacks to a player who is often offline! These are our attack to a player who was offline at the moment.

I would like to ask everyone to see the CRs' date and time. Please notice the towns. Please notice the attacker.
Please do not try for cheating us, you are not talking with some newbies!

Please mention that where your town, "predator", is and that you moved it beside him with complete fleets. I think we have to consider he is not a stupid player who attack another player with only steam rams.

As I remember, you have not mentioned any attack by our members till last night. You said some other reasons for attacking them; has it changed since last night?

I got about 40 cr's but most on this server know LAW and most know we do not attack unless attacked so unless someone wants to see them real bad it's not worth my time to do up spoilers.

Calling our diplo Kriz down also gets you some neg points in my world,he is one of the most respected Diplos on the server,a great warrior and has fought wars lasting well over a year,pick your choice of words wisely mon ami.

We fight now.

As this thread has gone to more of a quarrel than a discussion, id like to get things back on track.

First things first.

As far as i know, diplomat of LAW, Doomsayer, has not been involved in this operation in any way. Im unsure from where this information originates from, but i can speculate that it is a miss understanding. On the other side, i was involved in some of the operations, and although some on Beta know me as a former diplomat of LAW, i am no longer holding this position. Also, as it was inferred that the diplomat hasnt replied (in the context it was mentioned, it points to me) I have not been contacted by anyone from IRAN, if i had been i would certainly have replied. If the real diplomat of LAW has been contacted, i can not confirm or negate.

Regal, as you know, you have recently approached a friendly alliance of ours, WNx, with which our roots run deep, proposing for a friendly war. After they respectfully declined your invitation, your reply was not on a friendly side. Basically, you said they have no choice and to prepare for war. We have been passed this conversation, as we do tend to exchange information about hostile actions in our region. Now, with you trying to depict your alliance as one with high regards for honor, respect and a peaceful resolution, i can hardly point these two facts together in a coherent argument. Actually, that approach just put you on a list of alliances that we at LAW expect to have trouble with in the future.

After the merger with .ir server, many alliances that came here to Beta did not seek to investigate intricacies of relations between alliances already on Beta. Some of them went to attack the new neighbors within a very short while after the merger. With many alliances on Beta knowing themselves for a long time and being connected through mutual past and formal relations, this only adds fuel to the fire, as an attack on one alliance basically invites other Beta alliances to join.

LAW did not attack anyone since the merger took place. We are a peaceful alliance with diplomatic and democratic principles in our roots. However if a threat comes knocking at our door, we will respond, defend and prevale. We didnt ask for it, or started it.

If you can confirm that Persian Empire (Iran) has no interest in the fight against our ally POFF, and that you will not support any alliance attacking them, then we have no business with you and this all ends now.

This option probably wasn't taken because it's been offered by other ir alliances, ones you claim as your allies, and the moment they start losing it suddenly is no longer a 1v1. For example, Lord HOSEIN from KINGs was supposed to have a 1v1 with Troublemaker from Dump. The moment HOSEIN started to lose, Versus from KINGs sent troops and ships in to help out his little buddy who can't fight HOSEIN.

Now, instead of a 1v1 between a 10 million TS player (HOSEIN) and a 4 million TS player (Troublemaker) it's a 2v1 between a 10million and a 7 million point player against a 4 million point player.

Things like this are why no one on Beta believes you when you mention honor. IR players have, for the most part, shown that they only have honor as long as it suits them.

I preferred not to answer more claims in this thread which are not supported with any evidence. I think I have said sufficiently about those and everybody can understand the truth easily. However, a respectful post needs to be answered, thus I will try to reply it as completely as possible.

Lets consider you are right about some of the alliance, but can you punish other alliances? However, among the .ir alliances, I think only 3 of them are within a conflict over a domestic alliance. Of course, I am doing my best to stop it as well.

I think it needs more discussions, but briefly, in my view, a merger with an unfamiliar server causes hurdle for both sides, especially when they cannot talk easily and do not understand each other. There will be a lot of misunderstanding in such cases that needs experienced players to help whole players understand each other and enjoy the game more.

I think your alliance did not follow any peaceful route before toward us before attacking us! Aren't you agree? You could contact me and talk about the matter. I always hay tried to behave ethically, so we could achieve an agreement before any conflict.

It would be appreciated if you clarify it first: why did you attack us? To support WNx, to support POFF, to enjoy a friendly war/duel? What was the reason actually?

I am sure it is clear that we do not like to attack POFF. There was a tiny matter between us, but it solved diplomatically. However, we had not start it yet.
However, I think no one cannot talk about the future and I am the same. I know we have not attacked them yet, that is what I can control it. But, can I control that no player in my alliance helps their friend out of it? As you know, there is no mechanism in this game for that.
There is a brilliant point that I can say, we think we have to support our unions (either Iranian or non-Iranian) when they are under attack and we have no strategy or plan for supporting any alliance in attacking other alliances.

A wrong behavior is wrong in every situation. Can you assure that all your allies behave correctly? At least, I cannot assure that. I think it is not right, especially if HOSEIN has offered the duel. (It is what happened in our case; Simpson offered a duel against Rango, but did not attacked him individually!) Moreover, I am curious to know that how many Iranian player you have talk with. It is appreciated that you said "for the most part", but I think you have not even talk with 100 Iranian players, so please do not judge them simply.

By the way, I cannot find a 10 million TS player as HOSEIN. There is one player with that name which has about 4.4 million TS and does not involve in any alliance.
