It says that godly protection will last up to level 7 if I have Ikariam PLUS. I wonder if I do the challenge The Grace of the Gods that gives you premium for 7 days will my godly protection last to level 7 of my town hall?

And it is level 6, not 7.
Trying to upgrade to level 7 gets you out of godly protection mode.

you can have up to 4 warehouse and each level of warehouse you have 8K more storage and 400 more safe storage,
i Recommend until you Research Waste Dump ( Economy ) to have 2 warehouse and then if you see that you need more place you can destroy your warehouse and build dump(you can have only one dump ) -

Each level of a warehouse increases the storage capacity with 8000 and safety limit with 480.
The more and bigger warehouses you have, the big safety limit will protect your resources.
You can have up to 4 warehouses of level 40 in a town.
For more info about your buildings you can read the in-game help file that can be found on the first row of each game page.

Dump does not have a safety limit. It can only store, not protect resources.
