Well said Mr. Master.. This was a great victor for the server “HADES”No strategy on Fire but it was a heck of a battle. I like the pile on battles… More battle like this will keep people interests in logging in..

FIRE has got a lot of members… maybe too many.. I like keeping it small and straight forward. But good people.. Good leaders in which can be appreciate.
We need more alliance that are not spam alliances like The Phoenix Rebs.

I was wonder if there could ever be a server war.. Group of alliances fighting on two sides…Could it be done with this server.. ??That would wake it up…..

The thing about server wars is that everyone always says they want one, but when the time comes they decline the invitation. Hephaistos, which is a much more active server than Hades, tried it twice. But the idea never even got outside of the planning stage because the callout was too low or non-existent.

We discussed fighting amongst ourselves when Hades starts dying out, but even that will be too boring after some time because the accounts are just so different in size. We talked about creating a league made only for fighters and small alliances where each enemy knows each other (I mean at first, the league would literally just be us, split into pieces). So at peace times, you'd be one alliance. At war times, you'd be fighting against your friends.

But what could that accomplish? Only more respectful wars, but outside of that, there's only so much a 20 man alliance can do.


Ikariam as a game needs a savior and it's called a server merge.
Gameforge should act urgently and make server merges possible again, if you have visited stomt these last few days you could see how many players asked for merges (probably the most sought-after implementation) and be sure that GOs have seen it and forwarded it.

But they cannot merge servers until they fix the miracles because there's a few places on the map where good miracles are hoarded up - in a server merge, if you're not fast enough you don't get to colonize those places. I personally will be the first one to quit if I'm forced to go on a crappy set of islands after my alliance has fought for 9 months and disbanded like 3-4 different alliances just because we needed good territory and they owned it previously. I'm sure at least one third of my alliance feels the same way, and if one third of us really quits, another third will follow as collateral.

So someone who has faster internet or just happens to be online during that part of the day will get better islands without even fighting for them? Nah



All in all mate, I think it's safe to say that we're screwed unless Gameforge intervenes. We haven't had peace and building period for 4 months now, so any kind of 'world war' idea is appealing to us. Judging from experience though, we're not very optimistic.
