You get 150,000 research points for 300,000 crystals without optician.
Lvl 1 militaristic/economic/seafaring future costs 532,800 research points:-
->> with optician u need 720,000 crystals
->> without optician u need 1,050,000 crystal
For further levels u just add the same..e.g., lvl 2 1,440,000(720,000+720,000) with optician, lvl 3 2,160,000(1,440,000+720,000) with optician

Lvl 1 scientific costs 610,560 research points
->>with optician 810,000 crystals
->>without optician 1,200,000 crystals
Then for next levels u add up the same amount of crystals.

Each - seafaring, economic and militaristic futures in total need 173,160,000 research points and scientific future in total need 198,432,000 research points.

With out optician for seafaring, economic or militaristic future you will need to make 1,155 experiments and that will cost you 346,500,000 crystal. For all 3 futures you will need to make 3,465 experiments with crystal cost of 1,039,500,000. For scientific future you will need to make 1,323 experiments and it will cost 396,900,000 crystal.

With max upgraded optician for seafaring, economic or militaristic future experiments you will need to make 785 experiments that will cost you 235,500,000 crystal. For all 3 futures you will need to make 2,355 experiments with crystal cost of 706,500,000. For scientific future you will need to make 900 experiments and it will cost 270,000,000 crystal.

With optical you can safe up till 459,900,000 crystal for future experiments (that's if you research futures only with experiments and you don't use scientists at all).
