will the forum change?

I took pride in how long I've been a member of this board. Was going to throw a party for my 10 year anniversary. I guess I'll just have to chase another 10 years...

I have a question..when forum is in read only mode, will you be able to access your pms or even log in your account?

the staff of my forum ( Italy ) wrote about it :

The current forum will remain active in read mode only until 28.03.2019 and after that date it will be permanently deactivated.

Yes, you can login normally, only you will not be able to make any change, no post, no deletion, nothing. Only view as it was when it was closed.

Wouldn't it be nice if they send a global message in game about this change? I am sure some ppl that don't check boards frequently will get angry.

I am still not sure will I be able to use boards pms here..I get I won't be able to post or do nothing, but does this include pms?!

I will see what can be done with a global message sent in game - thats something I am unable to do...imagine the spam I could send in game messages...lol

also to answer - Yes you will be able to log on and read your messages.

On the forum of my country, the news has just been published.

This is a post

As you probably heard, a new version of the forum is being prepared.
It's about the version of the WBB5 forum that will be common to all Ikariam, and RS and BA will have within it a part that they will use.
When a new forum is fully prepared, we will announce his address and will be open for registration.
Due to very large changes, the transfer of old accounts will not be possible, but users will have to register again. There will also be no posts from old forums.
We do not currently have accurate information with precise deadlines, but expect changes very quickly.
As soon as we have more precise information we will publish them.

New forum is awful...I registered on EN but found it is shared with US & every time you go to dashboard or look at something you are sent to an international page...you have to keep selecting EN...complete waste of time.
There is not even a place for individual worlds...Alpha, Beta etc.

Unfortunately I don't think things like CT requests, game discussion or suggestions will work here...unless we post them in another thread if one can be made.

I personally like new forum, except it was little difficult to use it through phone at first, but after some practice I managed to use it quite well while using phone.
The reason why I like it, is because I like to watch different community forums and since they all are in one place its more easier to do that and I like new design (Yes, I like it,deal with it)
