What are the best military units in defending and attacking???

i don't have enough resources , it's hard to build an army now
i have to build new colonies 1st to have my sulphur town

You might try trading for sulphur. I have 2k for trade right now. Do you have crystal?

I'm trying to lvl 3 all my palace and governor now to build new sulphur colony , i don't have much resources couse i'm using it too fast lol

Steam Giants are the best for defending both economically and militarily. A combination of swords men and archers should be good for you when attacking but never under estimate the power of steam giants when attacking as well. 1 steam giant is equal to more than 10 swords men so make the most of them.

You think 400 phalanx can account for 3700 general score? lol

maybe they have other troops , ship maybe , but in CR he got in war with IWH , they use 300 and 400 phalanx to attack (i think it's nuts lol)

So what troops do you think are not nuts? 100 SGs? 200 gunsmen? lol. Don't hate me, I am just having fun lol.

P/S: each player does have their own way of attacking. I personally like Phalanx and Archers (now gunsmen). But let me tell you 300 phalanx are tough to deal with lol.

And so is a fully upgraded 280 strong phalanx-archer combo army.

Nice.... But I don't use guns even though I have them. Think they are woth it?

Yeah they are King (in my opinion). Not as expensive as SGs (I have them too but dont use them too much), but they are good for attacking when upgraded.

So should I change my around 150 archers to guns at 2 archer into one gun?

I would do that and I am actually doing that. You should try it out yourself. Try to build 10 guns and try them out (but be sure to upgrade your gunsmen first lol).
